MKCMP is a signature project of MEDO located in North Waziristan District KPK. It is the second largest Copper Mining project of Pakistan.
Operational since 2019, it comprises of an open pit mine and 1,500 tons per day Copper Beneficiation Plant. MKCMP achieved all facets of mining value chain through Pakistani HR with employment of 65% locals.
Indeed this project is a game changer for the local community and an icon of self-reliance and success for the mineral sector of Pakistan.
